Overview

This is a superb introductory trekking in Nepal, among some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. The Langatang lies north of Kathmandu and is the most accessible trekking region in Nepal.
The trek starts from Syabrubesi, after driving 150 km from Kathmandu. The trail gradually ascends upstream along the Bhote Kosi River, passing through the forests of the Langtang valley to the alpine meadows and yak pastures around Kyangjin Gompa.

After an ascent of Kyangjin Ri (4 773m), from where the 360-degree mountain views are truly spectacular and the trail trace back to Thulo Syabru. From here, we further trek to the sacred lake of Gosainkunda situated at an elevation of 4 336 meters and trek down to Sing Gompa and Dhunche from where we drive back to Kathmandu and trek concludes.

  • 11 days trekking in full board basis (accommodation in lodge, 3 meals a la carte)

  • Guide and Sherpa services (1 trek guide+1 assistant Sherpa for 5 trekker ratio for a grouped trek).
