Overview

The journey begins from Kathmandu after breakfast at your hotel as usual and we drive to Naombuddha, which is situated 35km South-east of Kathmandu and takes approximately 1h30 Minutes. Visit Tashi Yanse Gonpa, Tiger den hill and finally descend to Namobudha Stupa where we take day lunch. After luck, we walk down by a beautiful villages and cross a small rivulet and pass through orange garden, rice field where one can observe villager working in their field. We arrive at the bottom of the Battase Village and take tea break. This village is very popular for orange production and also you can communicate with the villagers as they are just returned from the day work in the field. You can observe the activities of a typical Népalese Newari and Brahmin-Chhetri Culture and lifestyle. We climb slowly through a rough motorable road and rejoin the Dhulikhel-Sindhuli Pitched Road at Battase (windy hill in Nepalese). Cross the road and climb about 200 meters inside the pine trees and finally come to the small Tamang village on the top of Dhulikhel hill station. There is a Hindu temple on the top with some Military guards securing the Telecom Towers on the top. The view is stunning on the clear days. Finally walk down through the stairs to the Dhulikhel main Bazaar and drive back to Kathmandu.
